Jamais vu
The exact opposite of deja vu. The eerie feeling you get when you see and experience a familiar (sometimes mundane) place and/or event with a completely new perspective. Like it is all brighter and being seen, done, experienced...etc....for the very first time and it all has a very distinctive different feel. I think it literally means "never seen" in French
My French is a bit rusty

Yep And the literal translation of deja vu is "already seen".
But the phenomena are far more detailed and intricate, than their names.

gambit (noun)
gam·bit | \ ˈgam-bət \ Definition of gambit
1 : a chess opening in which a player risks one or more pawns or a minor piece to gain an advantage in position 2: a remark intended to start a conversation or make a telling point (2) b : a calculated move : stratagem
I've seen both words (gamut and gambit) being used in an employee performance report, and often mixed up

Gambit! ......hmmm.......reminds me of Remy Le Beau.
Tyler Kitchner played the part of the suave, charismatic and "the handsome" Remy Le Beau.

An all-time favorite....
Formidable
.......in a nutshell as an adjective applied to an individual: " a person to be contended with using caution, a worthy adversary, a forceful opponent......someone not to be taken lightly, or easily dismissed.
That's how I have always known and understood the word. (Finally getting the hang of how to access and use the copy and paste feature on this tablet. )
Now this is what Webster has to say about it :
Definition of formidable 1: causing fear, dread, or apprehension a formidable prospect 2: having qualities that discourage approach or attack a formidable opponent 3: tending to inspire awe or wonder : IMPRESSIVE a formidable accomplishment

😄 I’m with you all the way on “ yummy” ...I’ve detested that word my whole life! I rarely have any reason to say “ pamper” and I don’t think I’ve ever said “ whimsical” out loud....It’s one of those words I see written, but never use myself. What’s a good substitute for “cozy” though? That’s one I might need now and then.
