It was so cool, and could have gone off in either of two directions :
Jim Morrison's death was faked and he came back to some of his old stomping grounds where he once lived (Texas...New Mexico).
OR....
Good Jim's ghost was traveling by and stopped by to smile and say 'hey' to Stu. 😄😉 |

So I'm reading the expanded version of The Stand with His Majesty. It's my first time reading this version and even though I'm getting close to the finish line, the length of the book is dragging me down. I really WANT to finish it and not quit before the excitement in Las Vegas.....wish me luck, folks! I'm gonna force myself to read for a few hours and see how far I get...starting.......NOW. |

It's my first time reading this version and even though I'm getting close to the finish line, the length of the book is dragging me down. I re-read it last year (gosh, what could have prompted me to do that?), and I never cease to be amazed at the way the dissolution of society is depicted. That's what's so fascinating to me about apocalyptic fiction. |
