Stieg Larssons The Girl in the Spider's Web.
Fu**n waste of time. Stieg Larsson had nothing to do with that book. He wrote the first three, then died before the first was even published. His greedy brother and father signed over the rights to use the characters to David Lagercrantz who wrote the book. But youre right in that it is a Fu--ing waste of time. Prime example of milking money out of the bookbuyers.

Stieg Larssons The Girl in the Spider's Web.
Fu**n waste of time. Was it actually written by Steig Larsson or was it a ghost writer who did it?

Its literally a cash grab for his estate.

Nothing like beating money out of your dead relative's corpse like a piñata.

SH*T-Weasels
Horror or humor? Sure, there is gore in Dream Catcher. But I found horror and humor in it. Uncle Steve likes to start out with an idea that is kind of funny, until everything goes wrong.

I haven't been back to the Quabbin Reservoir since I read that book. www.mass.gov/locations/quabbin-reservoirYes, it's in Belchertown, Massachusetts. My husband would always let out a huge burp at the sign "Entering Belchertown". facepalm

The most recent book I started was called "Proof of Heaven"
It's by a neurosurgeon who underwent a dramatic illness and recovery
I've read nine chapters so far - it's an easy read and quite interesting

A young 25 year old friend of mine died 3 times in February. Once in the Emergency room, once in Intensive care and once in his hospital room. He had blood clots that went to his lungs. He said he remembered it was all black. There was no afterlife, no heaven. There was nothing. I imagine this doctor has written an opinion piece.....

Sounds to me like your young friend is plenty tough, and it wasn't time for him to go. 😊
