Been in a reading funk the past couple of months and have only read the Joe Hill short stories for our discussion group. I think the funk is over. Last night I started Disappearance at Devil's Rock by Paul Tremblay and had a hard time putting it down.

Hey wireman - that is great! I picked up a book at the library about Mr. Rogers - will probably start that before bed tonight

I want to buy the DVD of the movie (starring Tom Hanks) for my mom. Let us know how the book is. I adored Mr. Rogers - R.I.P.

Reading has been slow for me for quite a while now, I just cant seem to get into anything I haven't already read enough to want to read it in my spare time. I'm currently reading heart shaped box by joe hill. Because I only read at night I never get too far into it, I dont think I've read 10 pages in 1 sitting yet.

Stick with it - HSB is my favorite Hill book so far. I've read it at least three times. You'll love the story.

Talking with Psychopaths and Savages! Yikes - sounds really interesting
I got a book from the library called The Dash Diet for Dummies
I've been following it for a couple of days - the idea is to gradually change your eating habits and eventually you can lower your blood pressure a few points.
I hope I can stick with it because I am tired of taking amlodipine every day

"And here is a genre that is misunderstood, dismissed by some who do not realize what an amazing function it is performing. Horror allows us to explore that darkness – in ourselves, in our world, in anxiety, in possibility, the worst-case scenarios, the unthinkable, the impossible, the inevitable, the avoidable, the tragic, the nightmares within and without – and it allows us to explore them safely."

Dizzy I would read pet cemetery, it's a great but somewhat disturbing story.

Hey Dizzy.
I would also say Pet Sematary. It`s scary and a bit disturbing.
