Namorita is Namor's cousin. Well, that's how they see each other. I need to check the exact data, but there's some cloning involved, and perhaps the older Namora, as well.
This is the same Richard Rider Nova from the late 70s. He lost his powers, saw his Nova comrades die, dropped out of high school and started gym training to compensate. Now he looks bigger and more bitter.
Marvel Boy is Vance Astrovik, the present-day younger counterpart of the Guardians of the Galaxy's Major Victory, telepathic astronaut Vance Astro.

Thank you! 🙂
The last story I read about the Submariner was an Alpha Flight story line, or a tie in to that title. Namor had fallen in love with Marina, an Alpha Flight member....but she began to change and become quite ...savage. Never did find out what happened to her. John Byrne was always one of my favorite Marvel artists. Loved all of his work. (Alan Davis, too.)🙂

That's when he left the Avengers, so we just saw the start of that transformation on that book, showing her with an ugly face. I remember seeing her more monster-like. Perhaps in a Power Pack issue? Then she died, I believe.

Really!?...I thought Namor had left the Avengers long before that...but so many have left that group (and other groups) and came back over again so many times over the years. I may have missed something, or misremembered. I was collecting less and less (and working more and more) those latter years that Marina's story was happening. And sorry, but I never liked or bought any of Power Pack's issues. Thank you for the information Ice Cypher. 🙂

Thank you for the information Ice Cypher. 🙂 Actually, Namor did not last very long as an active Avenger at that time, and it was unthinkable that he would be one of them up to the point where he was accepted as a member around 1985. He left in 1987.

Indeed. The most troublesome parts were his Atlantean invasions of the surface world after Johnny Storm restored his memory and he discovered Atlantis had been destroyed by nuclear testings.
Governments and people who remembered that did not want anything to do with the Sub-Mariner. But Cap remembered how Prince Namor had fought beside the Allies as chronicled in the Invaders comic book, so he vouched for him.
