Hello, everyone.
Let's open this new forum for self promotion. Thanks, for creating it, Frank.
I'll share my fan art pictures here. For the ones I already have, I thought it would be nice to group them by story.
I'll start with "Graveyard Shift". I hope you like the pics.
Hall, the drifter.
Wisconsky, the goldbricker.
Warwick, the foreman.
Ippeston, the closest thing to a friend.
The hottest June on record in Gates Falls.

Excellent work! If you aren't already... you should be creating comic books.

Thanks, DiO!
I'm not, even though I love comics.
They require a lot of time and more preparation that I got. I'm a Software Engineer and also do some acting on local Theater groups, so free time is something I don't have a lot of.

icecypher , your work is just amazing !!
As diobolic has said...you should be creating comic books. You don't have to hide behind anyone. If i compare the "The Walking Dead" Drawings to yours....you are the winner
Thanks for sharing your great work !!

I have not read TWD, but thanks for the favorable comparison. (I love Kirkman's writing on Invincible, so I assume the stories on TWD are as good.)
For comics, it's not only drawing well enough. Even more important than that is an understanding of visual storytelling. Even without any words, people should be able to understand and follow the action just by looking at the panels. I think I may not be so bad at that, but there's also another important thing that I have heard editors value a lot:
Speed.
Artists who don't hit deadlines, no matter how awesome and hot they are, are not good for the editors.
Even for webcomics, I've heard creators say that they notice how views are hurt whenever they miss a date.
I suppose I'd have to drop everything else to polish my skills and to also be on time. so I think stand alone fan art pieces are the most I can do for the moment. But I am very glad whenever someone likes them.

Thanks, everyone. I'm glad other King fans like them.
Now it's the turn of "Carrie".
Sweating Tommy Ross.

There is no doubt you are a professional. Outstanding and absolute perfection. Is this
your profession? I'm thinking Disney.

Hello, everyone. I'm back after a long absence. I have spent a long time working and drawing, neglecting this and a couple of other forums. Sorry for that.
These are the last minutes of my birthday, and I got a free day from work tomorrow, so I can stay up a little longer to visit message boards.
I got an iPad late last year and it has been amazing. Before, I used my Nintendo 3DS console to draw, but now it's so much easier and exciting that I even leave video games untouched for weeks because I spend more of my free time drawing.
In fact, after a couple of months working with my iPad I realized that it could export progress videos of my drawings. I started uploading them to YouTube and thought some of you might find the interesting, at least for a while, heheheh.
Some of the videos currently up are of King fan art, and there will be more in the future, for sure, although that's not all that I upload.
Here are a few of the videos.

Thank you all. I will leave a tab open on my iPad's browser for this site, so it's always easy to visit. ....been watching more of your vid's when I can make time. Truly EXCELLENT. Really enjoying watching your process! You are so VERY gifted. ...Cypher was one of my favorite X-Men characters too. I especially loved his great friendship with 'Warlock'. Very much looking forward to seeing more of your work, and I must say you have a very pleasant voice Senor. And the narrative is also very enjoyable. Have a great day.
