Oh, ok. If that is what she means, then I have seen a few of them in my neighbor's yards.

Yes it is! Thankyou Notaro Some people don't think it is very pretty, but I do. Especially when it in thick and fills the raised boxes.

Thanks to @alexandra I just learned that there is male and female sage. Who knew? Maybe just me and I still don't understand... The first time I saw it was on a mountain road and the person I was with pointed it out. I thought he was kidding, but nope it does exist. The male is a bit darker in colour and VERY strong scent to it. Did dry some and use it but way too pungent for me. He told me very few stores and Nurseries sell it. Since then I have looked and never did find anyone selling it, just the female sage.

Older Wolf learning new things here everyday. Appreciating it too. I grew some silver sage a few seasons back when I was gardening regularly. It did pretty well. Always used the store bought seed packs every year. Had no idea there were male and female plants. I like to learn about how to propagate from my own plants produce. I managed to grow Italian sweet basil and collect the seeds to use the next year. Vegtable seeds are so much easier to collect and dry. My Oregano never did well, but I want to work on that again. Cilantro and Italian flat leaf parsley always takes off like gang busters. I'm loving the reading about all of y'alls gardening. Thanx!

My mom bought and re-potted a gypsy rose flowering plant today. So beautiful it almost brought a tear to my eye. Looks like this...

What a lavish plant with a thousand tiny stars. Never seen one. The variety of God's creation is almost too much to absorb, sometimes.

I think I love it so much because it reminds me of baby's-breath. That was always my favorite part of rose bouquets. I'm weird like that. When I was little, the best thing about going to the zoo was watching the little gophers running free around the cages. It really is all about the little stuff.
