What the heck? This place is dead tonight.
Just getting ready to check on my dumplings. I put a clean tea towel over the crockpot, then put the lid on top of that. This is what my Mom used to do, only she used a pot on top of the stove.
Fingers crossed that they turn out nice and fluffy!

Hey there - poutine is something I was introduced to back in the early 80s in Quebec where I guess it originated from. At the time, being skinny, I did not want to eat greasy fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds lol
My son likes poutine but he can handle the extra calories.
Don't you guys down there eat poutine? It seems to be very popular in Canada
