Raised by Wolves part 2.
Personally, this is one of the best things to watch this year being a sci-fi fan. Superb sci fi with deeply stirring metaphysical underpinnings. Hard sci-fi with a surreal mythological fantasy vibe, very good actors, cinematography and special effects .
A dystopian sci-fi tale. I'm currently watching that as well, Frank. Yes, it's a really great throwback to old school science fiction: bold ideas and a well-crafted tale. And hey, if it keeps Ridley Scott from making yet another god-awful Alien "prequel," that's icing on the cake for me.
Watched part 3 today.
It was ok. I always thought my Android (phone) is a psychopath.
{Spoiler}It did a lot right with the human side of the story. But the "Children escape into a harsh environment"...feels like it’s been done far too many times.

Many think that this is as good as the original. This could actually stand alone.

Many think that this is as good as the original. This could actually stand alone. Indeed. The world was not ready for The Exorcist. An equivalent to the effect of The Exorcist would be if we were to take John Carpenter's The Thing and play it for a post-war audience.

Agreed. It's my favourite horror film, the scariest, and the one that to this day I refuse to watch at night.

Its incredible really, especially when considering the period in which it came out. William Peter Blatty is a great talent.

Someone should start a Saturday Night Live thread. I've been watching this show every week for the past month. I really enjoyed seeing Jim Carrey. I also loved Jack White's set where he played a guitar that Eddie Van Halen designed. I'm looking forward to seeing the Foo Fighters perform tonight. They're one of my favorite bands, but I've never been able to see them live.

No idea why it didn't last.

In the clip below nobody really ever confirmed if Andy Kaufman was really freaking out or it was part of the skit.

Raised by Wolves part 4.
While a little slower from the previous episodes of the season, Raised By Wolves delivers another decent slice of thought provoking sci-fi. The ideas around right and wrong, as well as the complexity of creators VS creations is absolutely fascinating.
The moral dilemma this raises brings up some big questions that are perfectly captured across the two separate storylines.
While there isn’t a lot here in terms of big set pieces or exciting action, this serves as another important instalment that perfectly captures the essence of what makes sci-fi so endearing.
