BEST SHOW ON TV!!! I even have a Forged In Fire T-Shirt. Yap it's very interesting. I like the guy who always says "It will cut".
Better when Doug says... "IT WILL KILL!"

Better when Doug says... "IT WILL KILL!" Never heard this. The Show isn't dubbed, you can hear the original voices in the background while a german narrator is speaking.
He always translates it "It`s sharp"

Supernatural aired its series finale today. I haven't watched it as yet (I usually binge-watch the entire season). I have to say though that this is the rarest of shows. There was no reason for it to continue beyond it's fifth season: the mythology went all to Hell and made no sense. But the show held up primarily because of the strength of the two lead actors: you could see in every scene they were giving it their all while having loads of fun. It remains the only non-cable TV series I've followed regularly over the past 15 years.
So this one is for Sam and Dean.

I've been having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. Thank G-d for Florian & Ralf!

It was great when Kripke was showrunner, and even for a while after he left. But you're right, the show seems to have gone to hell (no pun intended). I've not heard great things about the finale, but eager to know what happens all the same.

No FX on demand, huh? I'm watching it right now. Just keep an eye on FX. I'm sure they will have it on at least a few more times before Christmas Day...and on Christmas Day too. 😊
.....seriously...it is a VERY good version of this classic.

.....seriously...it is a VERY good version of this classic. Got to give the cable company a call. I did have On Demand but now I can't access it. Looks like they took it away. Been looking for a reason to switch from RCN... thus might be it. Just not looking forward to all the hassle of switching everything... cable, internet and phone.

This guy I've been working with the last few months, let's call him Jeffery -- his name is Jeffery .... he has an encyclopedic knowledge of tv & movies from the 80's/90's. I mean it's all he cares about! And he somehow, if you talk to him, he steers the conversation cleverly around to 'Babylon 5', highlander the tv series, or renegade with Lorenzo Lamas almost every time! Which is fine. But I've had people ask me if they could somehow break off the conversation without hurting his feelings. No I tell them! Just deal with it!
One day he had this girl that takes covid temps at the employee entrance, he had somehow managed to get her to pull up a Babylon 5 episode on her laptop. When I approached she looked at me thru her mask with pleading eyes like, "help me!" Later she demanded, "Why didn't you help me!" But really, what could I do? She's a little on the frail side, so I give her a break, but for the others I'm thinking, "Suck it up!" But for me, really he is a godsend. He has the names & careers (and sometimes birthdays & death dates) of hundreds of character actors in his head. He told me one day I'm the only person he ever met who knows who Tim Thomerson is! High praise indeed. I'm not making this sh-t up. Really. He's as real as you or me.
Anyway, he kept telling me I need to see this scary movie on youtube called, "Don't go to sleep." From 1982, A TV movie with Valarie Harper & Dennis Weaver in it. The least scary people I can imagine! So finally I acquiesced (spell check), and watched it the other night. DAMN!!! It scared the tea-totaling f-ck out of me! Okay, that's where the story was going. But jezus! Yeah I was alone and it was dark, but ... Dennis Weaver? Anyway if you've got the stomach for it, here it goes. This might've gone great as the second bill on a drive-thru with Carrie! I still ain't right.
