It didn't appear from what I've read that he was battling any major illness.
Well some celebrities, particularly Chadwick Boseman and MF DOOM in recent memory, didn't have their illnesses be public information until after they died. In rapper Daniel Dumile's (better known by his stage name MF DOOM) case, his death wasn't even announced by his family until around 2 months after he actually passed. Some people forget that some celebrities would rather keep their personal problems under wraps for privacy or fear of it affecting their career. |

Wasn't really a Norm guy but he was amusing in SNL, I liked his dry wit and he was also good at tearing politicians a new one, and he didn't care if they were on the right or the left. Norm also wrote some of my favorite episodes of Roseanne, which can still be seen on Cozi and CMT, but most other channels avoid syndicating the show due to her comments about some politician.
