We're getting wet in Sunnyville. Flash flooding expected until mid morning. All is well otherwise. Me and mine are safe and dry ♥ Spoke with Hoss yesterday. The storm skirted around him, but rain and wind was expected for a few days. Does anyone know if doccreed was in the path at all? I think he's somewhere in Alabama? spideyman........are you and the critters okay?

Since on east side, had tornado watches. Sun is bright this morning. Be safe.

We haven't gotten anything yet, but track is shifting north and risk for tornadoes is increasing. We are a bit skittish about that word so soon after Flo aftermath.
Not supposed to be here until late afternoon thru midnight. Will keep you guys posted.
Continued prayers for all in need and all still on the path!

Hopefully the system weakens and no tornadoes spring up for others.

So, we got a lot more rain than I expected.....about 5 inches. Flooding was rampant, roads were closed, school was let out at 11. I got off work at 5 and had to deal with a wet basement. It could have been much worse, but still frustrated. Hope everyone else is well and dry ♥

Sending good vibes. Appears Michael isn't done yet!

Let's hope Michael (Myers) doesn't follow up with an encore this year. Sorry about your basement.

@wayoftheredpanda spideyman doccreed Thanks, Y'all! ♥ I have the dehumidifier and some fans running. It wasn't much more than a couple of quarts, but It's frustrating. should be dry by morning.

Our mall today Road near my Mom {Spoiler} I remember a lot of shopping areas being submerged last year during Harvey, luckily my house is right next to a big drainage ditch so it wasn’t flooded. Unfortunately they just demolished a small wooded area across from my neighborhood that also provided good flood relief, so I don’t know if that’ll greaten the chance of my neighborhood flooding at all the next time there’s a big storm.

Here in Richmond, we are fine. Had a few watches and warnings of high wind, flash floods and tornadoes, but nothing but a few branches down at my house. There was a tree in the road on the way to work, but one lane was open so we all went around. Different story at the Outer Banks - wtkr.com/2018/10/12/kill-devil-hills-state-of-emergency-floating-propane-tanks-influx-of-snakes/ Mostly issues on the sound side. Hope everyone else made it through ok! Best news is, it finally feels like fall here now!
