Here in Richmond, we are fine. Had a few watches and warnings of high wind, flash floods and tornadoes, but nothing but a few branches down at my house. There was a tree in the road on the way to work, but one lane was open so we all went around. Different story at the Outer Banks - wtkr.com/2018/10/12/kill-devil-hills-state-of-emergency-floating-propane-tanks-influx-of-snakes/ Mostly issues on the sound side. Hope everyone else made it through ok! Best news is, it finally feels like fall here now! Thank all good your way. Stay safe.

Sundrop
That is some major water at your mall. You and many others have had so much to deal with from Mother Nature. I hope she settles down soon so people can begin to put their lives back together. America you are strong and resilient, I am proud to call you my neighbour and my MB friends I am proud to know you. Take care, be safe and God bless.

Schools were closed in my county yesterday (storm itself) and today (power outages and flooding). Lot of high water again around center of NC. Eye of thing came right through here. Rains were worse on front side and wind on back side. Several trees down on fence, including a monster red oak almost 5 feet wide. Got them cut off today except for big boy. That one will be a challenge. Moved cows to other pasture. Family and kinfolk came through fine. Tired of rain and wind but fine.

Pace yourself with clean up. Michael has made the history books for sure. May this be the last of Mother Nature's wrath for awhile!
