Just thought maybe this would be a good thread to start - you can post pictures here, talk about any concerns or if you have a pet.
My cat Bailey was feeling under the weather recently and I was a bit worried about him. I think he might have had some sort of 'cat flu'. He's starting to perk up a bit and seems more lively. He was not eating his food one day and sleeping a lot more than usual. He just seemed very lethargic.
This isn't the greatest pic of him but it shows what he looks like - that is Bailey sitting up and the one lying down is CJ but unfortunately CJ is no longer with us (went to the big Cat Heaven up in the sky)

Maybe he can now catch that mouse that has decided to take up residence - I saw it! It's a tiny thing with big ears - here is an old picture of Bailey that I took when he caught a mouse in the past.

I hope Bailey will be himself soon again! What a beautiful cat (CJ too!).
We just found this when we walked into the kitchen... And no, she's not allowed on the counter, and she knows it.

What a beautiful cat you have neesy!
OUr cat, Tiger is fascinated with water also!
He is such a brat! Our dog was asleep on the sofa one day last week, and she was upside sown. That darned cat jumped on Phoenix's belly, and then started chewing on her leg. Next thing I know they are both belly up!! I don't have a cell phone any more to take pictures with, and I missed a good one with them like that!

We had to babyproof our kitchen cabinets because one of my cats figured how to open them up and he would get stuck inside because he couldn’t figure out how to get out until someone opened the cabinet again, he never learned and did this a lot.

Do you think she was thirsty?

No, my husband prepared a treat for them on the counter earlier, and the fork was still in the sink, which she thought smelled irresistible.

Haha, yikes! Some cats really seem to like that, I'm glad that mine don't.

Bailey caught a mouse! (this was around midnight Saturday night) - it was just a small one but still, it is funny - he seemed so proud of himself. He was looking for treats on Sunday and is back to sleeping at the foot of the bed. When I throw a treat down the length of the kitchen he runs after it.
He probably DID have a bit of a cold for awhile and that's why he was lethargic.
Now that he is feeling better he is in 'full-on hunt mode', sniffing around and being ever vigilant in case another one happens to pop up.

Karen, and the family went to a get together at school tonight.
On the way home, Karen saw a kitten on the side of the road.
Guess who has a new kitten??
Poor little thing is skinny, and cries a lot right now, but she will calm down in a few days I'm sure. Karen is going to set up an appointment at the vet for her tomorrow. She looks to be about 8 to 10 weeks old. Cute little thing. I'll get Karen to take a picture of her tomorrow, so I can post it. This will make 3 cats, and 1 dog for us!! The dog is happy over the kitten, and the kitten isn't afraid of the dog either. My male cat, Tiger isn't to thrilled though! Bethy, the other female cat is like 'meh' towards the kitten. Lots of training to do again!!

She is really loving, and she purrs a lot.
The grandkids named her KitKat.
It really surprised me the way she just came in this house, and went from one to the other of us, and rubbed against us, and just purred, and purred. It was like she knew she found gold here!! I don't know who is worse, Karen, or me for having soft hearts towards kittys!!

For all the schlock cats get for being “uncaring” and “selfish”, they usually get attached to people really fast.

Here are a few pictures of her. I don't know if you can see them or not, but she has tufts on the tips of her ears. Attachment Deleted
