Is anyone a fan of Earl Grey? Yes - I like Earl Grey at times but not every day. I had some mint tea at Canadian Blood Services on Tuesday and it was really good.
Mint tea is delicious!

Yes- I am NOW DRINKING - and hallelujah Thanks be to GOD. It's been a while. The Ogre is grateful I can have something to settle my nerves now. I'm driving him crazy (er)
New Amsterdam and Pink Grapefruit sparkling water.
I have been off the wine for some time now - it was costly and a bottle doesn't last long at all - makes me a lil bloaty-faced. But last week I was in the Fresh Market and saw a bottle that caught my eye - the label is Leftie and the art is steampunk - I'm a leftie and I love Steampunk, so I bought a bottle of the white blend. Blech - horrible - don't ever buy it. It tastes like vinegar. But the label is cool.

Hi Holly - "white blend" - hmmm - that sounds fishy - I usually go for a Sauvignon Blanc
I used to drink the pink wines (rosé) but I always ended up with a bad headache
Lately I just don't drink anything - last alcohol I had was a shot of Bailey's in my coffee s015
Take care - maybe we will see you over at SKMB if you get a chance and aren't too busy
I did not go on there yesterday so I might pop in to see if anything's happening ???

I drink a lot of water in a day but I also drink, on average, three 12oz soft drinks per day. Do you think that is a lot? I'm somewhat addicted to Pepsi. What about you? How many sodas do you drink? Some people drink a six pack in one day, if not more, so I think I'm conservative in how much I consume.

I drink three or four 500ml bottles of sparkling water a day, don't have many soft drinks, I get an eight pack of diet coke or coke zero and I might have three of them over the course of a week sometimes less than that. Is it the regular Pepsi you drink doc or the sugar free stuff?

I don't eat many sweets like ice-cream or candy bars or donuts, so I look at these soft drinks as a treat. Also, I only eat one meal a day: dinner. Occasionally, I will eat breakfast. I weigh 166, not overweight. Americans consume way more sugar, I know, but I try to be aware of what's in my food.

For me this seems like a lot but I hardly ever drink pop - now and then I will have a small can of ginger ale if I have an upset stomach.
Andy drinks hot tea but he puts three teaspoons of white sugar in each cup! I use 1 teaspoon of liquid honey in mine (sometimes two).
We probably all take in more sugar than we realize

I learnt my lesson neesy - no more white blends for me. Or cheap wine!
doccreed - no soda for me - but I can't handle the syrupy taste of it. I get my caffeine from coffee and my sugar from very bad things like pie, candy, banana pudding, ice cream - sometimes even powdered hot cocoa mix when I can't find anything else. So I definitely need a sugar fix. I drink lime or grapefruit sparking water (I like apple too when I can find it). I drink it with vodka in the evenings - but straight at work (mostly).

Hahaha...well, don't get me wrong. I certainly like all those things. As you know, I bake cakes and desserts frequently, but I usually eat one slice and give away the rest. If I go to Krispy Kreme and buy a dozen glazed doughnuts, I will eat one or two and pass them along to family. Instead of sweets, my weakness is Chinese takeout, Chick-fil-A breakfast minis (or lunch), and Pepsi or cherry Pepsi. I've also noticed I eat fewer meals and less bread each day. It's very peculiar since it isn't a habit I initiated on purpose or follow with any sense of discipline. Perhaps my bad lungs have affected my eating habits. I'm cooking chicken and dressing tomorrow night and I'm sure I'll scarf it down. Are you cooking anything special this year? I seem to recall you made interesting choices last year.

I realize this is the Now Drinking thread but I don't drink booze all that often.
Honey is the sweetener I use the most;
We grew up having dessert at the end of our supper meal and Dad definitely had a sweet tooth - that must be where I got it from VWKKFduRFHVMhHXyDqLu
This dang keyboard is acting up again - do you ever get a lag between the time you type and when the letters appear on the screen? It's quite annoying!
