@osnafrank copying your thread ! I haven't had a drink in over a week. I just haven't felt well. Even at a dinner party last Saturday night - I drank a coke. I can tell I'm feeling better though because I wanted a glass or two of wine! I think I'm going to go vent about that dinner party somewhere in a minute. I read something in a thread by doccreed last week and he used the word Mirth. And the next day at the liquor store, I saw a Chardonnay called Mirth. Don't laugh- I'm not dim- but I had to look up the definition to the word. It's a screw top, which always trips me up. I feel like a wino. But the label was really pretty, and it's very smooth, a bit bubbly. I think I like it. Plus there's birds on the label. I love birds. I really only buy for the label, unless the description has something like: hints of honeydew lifted on a citrus note. Then I'm a sucker.  |

crying-with-laughter morgan !!! I fight that all the time! I keep thinking it would be the most environmentally friendly way to drink , but I just can't. I'm not there yet. However, there's not much left of this bottle! Wish you were here! |

I bought some of this stuff a few weeks ago but it's just sitting in my fridge. Maybe I'll save it for Christmas (drinking doesn't really go too well with my eating program) - I'd have to count all those points e030 Plus probably after 2 or 3 drinks I wouldn't care about points anymore!

Did you know that you can ask them to chill a bottle for you in the liquor store? I just found out. I was lamenting that the wine I wanted to drink soon was not in the cooler and the very nice liquor store lady said "We can chill that for you right now!" Good to know.... I won a bottle of Oak Grove Chardonnay at a game I played recently - Left Right Center - so I've got that for this weekend.

Did you know that you can ask them to chill a bottle for you in the liquor store? I just found out. I was lamenting that the wine I wanted to drink soon was not in the cooler and the very nice liquor store lady said "We can chill that for you right now!" Good to know.... I won a bottle of Oak Grove Chardonnay at a game I played recently - Left Right Center - so I've got that for this weekend. It's Raven's Rock. I'll take a pic of the label when I get home so you can look for it. If you can't find it, I'm sure I can send you a bottle....or three!! |
