Ever since my "episode" I have only drank either water or zero sodas. Helped with the dropping of 32 pounds. Sure do miss Dr Peppers but gotta do what you gotta do.
Also I believe that real thing Coke stuff is kinda of an urban legend type thing.
But I did somehow live through the 80s where occasionally there were some teas that were not exactly all Lipton.
Ah the 80s...
Remember them well...
OK not quite all of them...

Well we are having a heat wave today, made it to 98 degrees.
That, and its being a holiday here, I decided a classic scotch on the rocks would be good. And it is.

I left my watermelon Perrier mineral water out in the car and I'm too tired/lazy to go get it. Guess I'll just drink wine.

I recently bought a Soviet era Vostok Komandirskie from EBAY, out of the Ukraine.
The thing's a beast!!! But consequently, I'm drinking copious amounts of VODKA. And not the good stuff. I can't stop myself! And although I am contemptuous of the USSR National Anthem, if I don't listen to it at least a couple times a week, Uri (what I've named my watch), quits running! Worst $4466 Russian Rumples ($37) I ever spent! But sometimes when we love something we make allowances. Stay thirsty my friends.

Bigelow Plantation Mint tea. There is a store in the mall called Teavana where I go almost every Christmas. I want to branch out and try different flavors. I usually get seasonal teas like juniper berry and cranberry apple cinnamon, etc.. Coffee is more my jam. I usually drink sweet tea like Red Diamond.

I want to get into different teas as well since I can't drink much coffee. My two favorites are mint and ginger. I need to find rose hip tea somewhere. Tried it many years ago and liked it a lot. Bought some hibiscus stuff, but I'm not a big fan. Green teas are good too, especially the ones mixed with other flavors.

I think peach is one possible flavor.

After all the teas i have been exposed to, their black tea is by far the best tea ever. I just stocked up for the coming winter.

An extremely large mug of Lady Grey tea. Just having some hot Tetley with a bit of honey and some milk (the first Harry Potter movie is on in the background)

Is anyone a fan of Earl Grey? Yes - I like Earl Grey at times but not every day. I had some mint tea at Canadian Blood Services on Tuesday and it was really good.
