I've seen weird things near the mounds, but never the mothman personally.
What was seeing the White Wolf like, and the orbs around the mounds?
This stuff get's to be fascinating. 🙂
(we used to throw newspapers in the very early morning hours, back around '87.

I've seen orbs all my life, so it was never anything major. But near the mounds I would swear I saw figures.
Lol i was scared to death when I thought I saw the white wolf. I can deal with bears and coyotes but that was horrifying. I got out of there as fast as I could.

I have seen some quick flashes of white light at certain significant 'times'.
And I have seen dark blackish spectral figures before.
Lol, I'll bring those eventually.

The Irish call it being 'a wee bit fey' ...kinda psychic...not sure about the correct spelling of that word.
I've heard it, but have never seen it written.
I'm sure Dizzy 's Irish husband will know. 🙂
Back in Ireland, my great gran was like that.
SHE was an angelic woman all around.
Everyone loved her,
and when ever anyone was sick they would come to her,
before even going to the doctor.
When my grandmother was 19 and in the British Army,
she collapsed on the field one morning and was taken to the hospital.
She had been sick with pneumonia and didn't realize it.
Her condition was severe and she was close to dying.
No one informed her family back home in Ireland.
Her sister was in the Royal Airforce at the time.
When it happened my great gran just knew something was wrong.
She kept telling her husband that there was something terribly wrong with their youngest.
He didn't believe it,
but she kept insisting and demanded they go to England to see her.
When they got there they discovered that she was right. |

That 'leech faced thing' you saw,
reminds me of a young man a friend introduced me to one afternoon.
He was driving down my street with a friend,
when he saw me getting out of my truck.
He stopped to say hello and talk a minute.
I couldn't see his passenger's face...at first.
My friend said, "I want you meet some one..."
He leaned back in the drivers seat and the young man
leaned forward and gave a wave.
This was one of those times I was very glad that I don't scare easily or freak out.
He was born with a terrible, very SEVERE birth defect.
You've seen people with a cleft lip and palate...and worse?
Well, he had a large head,
and had been born with a 'cleft face'.
And I mean...his face was cleft from his brow to his mouth.
His eyes were very small and very close together and he wore very thick glasses.
He had no nose I could see,
and his mouth was very small.
I just smiled and said "Hi! It's nice to meet you."
I could see he was smiling as much as he could.
Of course I couldn't stare and really look at him closely.
I did not want him to feel uncomfortable or hurt in any way.
He was a very sweet person. 🙂  a054

I do remember a time when I encountered a 'thing' staring at me the way you described.
That happened in broad day light.

I don't think you're crazy.
'Prayer' has different forms...levels....2 of them are
'meditative prayer'
and
'contemplative prayer'.
Very LONG (and frequent) periods of time spent in deep meditative prayer,
can lead to a deeper 'contemplative state' in prayer.
On that contemplative level, in that state...very special and different things can occur.
But as far as 'Astral Projection'
being the same as things that 'go bump in the night'...or day?...
Nah. Not the same.😊

Another Paranormal Situation I Had Was After My Dad Went To Heaven I Was Very Sad An Once I Was Sleeping My Dad Came To Me In My Dreams An Say He Ok An I Will See Him Again Some Day An I Say Are You In Heaven An He Just Nodds An I Ask Him What Is It Like There An He Say He Isnt Allowed To Tell Me But I Will See It Some Day Too An He Say Alotta My Relatives With Him.
Then WhenI Woke Up I Had A Super Strong Feeling That Somebody Was In The Room With Me An Laying Right Next To Me An I Have A Feeling It Was My Dads Spirit. BC I Never Felt That So Strong Before.  But When I Look There Was Nobody There. I Think He Wanted Too See His Grand Kids An Plus He My Guardian Angel Too I Bet.
and that I haven't missed or ignored.

Anyways Here's A Story From Back On My Old House I Live At For Only A Short Times BC It Too Haunted. It Was In The Basement Where Most The Stuff Happen An I Hated Going Down There. But I Had Too Sometimes. An I Swear There A Evil Spirits Down There IDK That House History But I Bet 100 Dollars Somebody Was Killed There In The Past. I Would Always See Shadow People An Get Very Bad Vibes Down There An Tings Would Move Or Fall Over For No Reason. I Was Thanks To Get Outta That Place. They Should Get A Priest In There. I Feel Bad If Somebody Else Live There Now.
