The Oliver Stone movie, "Alexander" is extremely good!
(it's a good crash course for his history 😉
Also the movie 'Cleopatra with Liz Taylor and Richard Burton is a good film with mention of Alexander...but that flick is just more for fun.😊)
Collin Farrell portrays Alexander the Great, in Stone's "Alexander".

I Did Get The Idea From edwardjohn An His William Wallace Post So Thank You Edward.An Also Just BC I Been Trying To Imagine What It Would Be Like Back In Ancient Egypt Too. My Husband Say I Would Have Been A Queen If I Live Back Then.

Talk about the war and the birth of the nation. And to understand the thought process of a man that could have been king served for 8 years and stepped away to allow for another leader. Was the the first time in history that ever happened? Abraham Lincoln. Talk about being president in a war to to save the nation, and about how the Emancitatuon Proclamation was developed and what they envisioned to be the reception to it and what they thought America would be like after those terrible 5 years of war of brother fighting brother. |
