A story about old age, the dreaded C word, hospitals, death and miracles. Ayana being the ray of hope- with a special gift.
SK finds the spot on quote: " a medical definition for a miracle is a misdiagnosis."

A story about old age, the dreaded C word, hospitals, death and miracles. Ayana being the ray of hope- with a special gift.
SK finds the spot on quote: " a medical definition for a miracle is a misdiagnosis." That line stood out for me too.
Stephen takes bleak subject matter and gives it a little optimism.
I listened to the audio version this time and whoever read it was marvelous. I remember reading this story long ago and not thinking much of it but hearing the audio version gave me a new appreciation for this unique story.
