Almost all of us have had a prophetic dream or two that can make us wonder if the dream was a coincidence or did our subconscious actually know something that was going to happen. So, a dream about something bad happening to someone close to us can scare the hell out of us. This story highlights that fear.

Never underestimate a dream. Are they our subconscious warning us? Or just an overactive imagination?
Good points, wireman.

Oh no I forgot to read the story again. I've had a hard time keeping track of the days this week--Halloween threw me off! It's only 10 pages so I'll go read it now--and since it's so short maybe some other people will jump in here ,too.

I'm so far behind, but still want to read all of these group discussion stories.
I finally read Harvey's Dream and loved it. It's a very sad story, though. Everything from the way Janet feels about her husband, to her overall disappointment with life gives the story a really dark feeling to me. I think this one is gonna stick with me.

There’s a real feeling of dread because this couple probably won’t be able to cope and support one another through the tragedy that’s foretold in the dream.
