Today it is only around minus 13 C but with the wind chill it is minus 23 so not too bad overall.
Taking my son downtown - he is in the Provincial playoffs for 5 pin bowling (Special Olympics) and he gets to stay at the Delta Hotel for two days!

It was overcast today and we had 10°C/50°F
They predicted temperatures uo to 20°C/68°F for the next week

It is 16, feels like 1 F here, at 11:30 am. Has been snowing all morning but looks like it has stopped for now.

Let's see... 37 degrees. A wet, heavy, sloppy hybrid rain/snow mix falling. Bone chilling wind blowing. Frozen slushy mix still on the road to civilization.
Yeppers. Things are back to normal here at home in the Pacific North Wet.
If anyone wants to see a movie that accurately PNW weather watch "McCabe and Mrs. Miller" I got cold just watching it.

Another winter weather/wind chill/ground blizzard warning for Sunday and Monday with -35 F predicted. Gawd help us! Not sure how the skinny girls make it around here.  Relatively mild here - I just went out to our garage and it was around 38 F or around minus 2 C (not minus 38)
Not sure what the temperature was outside of the garage - probably a lot colder as our garage seems to stay pretty warm most of the time (Not heated but just well insulated)

Stay warm Morgan! Same here, we did not get above -4 today I think. Before wind chill. It is -8 feels like -24 right now and wind chill temps are expected to be between -30 and -40 overnight. Sooooo tired of this extreme cold. We have had below 0 temps for most of February, and now into March. My car would not start today. First time I have had that problem with it. Luckily we had a spare battery here. Will have to start it before I go to bed and let it run a while. SIGH!!!! |
