Hey Dizzy 😊
Hon, I've been trying to think on this thread. To be honest SK has never really scared me, but I'm thinking of two particularly tense moments that had a lot of suspense....
In "IT" when Bev was trapped in the car in the junk yard, hiding from Henry and his gang. Was scared for her then, thinking about what they could and would do to her if they discovered her there.

And....
In "Misery", when Paul snuck out of his room when Annie went out. Then she came back unexpectedly, and he had such a 'heart in the throat' ordeal getting back to his room before she could catch him. That was a great part in the book, and very welldone in the movie!

In the Tommyknockers when Gard is trying to lock the shed back up while Bobbi and the others are coming back from the ship
the 'just a loon' moment in Pet Sematary when Louis sees the Wendigo on his way to bury Gage

You Right darkharbinger Those are Scary. Especially That One With Louis Creeds Journey to The Pet Sematary an Coming Close to the Wendigo.
I Just Came Across A Sentence in The Tommy Knockers That Gave Me The Chills. Here it is. Its Gardener Talking About The Tommy Knockers When They Inside The Giant Ship.
Tommorowland it Seemed, Ended Up Being an Empty Place Where People Smart Enough to Capture The Stars, got Mad an Tore Eachother to Shreds With The Claws on Their Feet.

In The Dark Tower, book 7 - when the van is on the wrong side of the road and heading toward the Writer.
Also in The Dark Tower, book 6 Song of Susannah - when Roland is carrying Susannah on his back and he is running through the dark tunnel
with a monster chasing them In The Green Mile, when John Coffey ( who has saved everyone and thing that he possibly can save
is executed. That was chilling.

I Agree With You drawntokatet The Part With John Coffey Getting Executed was Very Scary an Sad.That PartReally Gets Me Emotional Every Times I Read it.
Also In The Story IT Where Eddie Has His Encounter With IT in The Form of The Leper/Hobo. The Way SK Described it i would Say just IMO that was One of PennyWise Most Disturbing Forms IT Took.
