In the middle of a pandemic,who but me would get meningitis? Feeling like Iam living in my own king story.Woke up in a hotel (hospital room). Actually, started a long costly ride. Woke up with no memory,knew no one. How quickly I realized how everyone was sharing my business,no privacy.
Anyway spent awhile there. Had lots of hausinations. Crazy how all stuffed animals came to be evil. Drop right through the ceilings. Could Couldn't speak and didn't remember anything. ICCU has some interesting memories now. Remembering crazy things. One I find funny is the doctor asked How I was feeling, then I said depends am I going home? She said not today. I said pretty f..ed up. Of course that even shocked my husband. Guess i knew abit more than i thought. Each day I got aliitle more of my mind back. Took several days to even recognize my husband.The staff began asking me questions. Boy was I out to lunch. They asked when my birthday was. I told them the day after Halloween. So November 1st. Nope it is sometime in October cause ain't that when Halloween is. So for me this was a several day questions until it sank in that it was in deed November 1st.
Each day gets better. So things not totally in my memory yet, I forget things,spell funny and can't think of words sometimes.I draw a blank. But each I get better.
I have really missed you all. I want to say thanks to those who called,sent emails and cards.
Got some good news after all this. Me Grandson is making us Great Grandparents. Baby due on September 21.Told my granddaughter she can not change that due date.LOL Our son is making us Grandparents again.in August.
Looking forward to posting and becoming more active on here.

We ended up putting Otis down on the 13th. Been so weird without him.
We decided he had suffered enough. We dearly miss him.

...what breed/kind of mix was he Lin?  Otis was a Jack Russell Boxer Mix. I called him my Jack Oxer. I will make alittle thread later with pics and stories about him. |

Iam doing ok. Guess the memory is what it is. Not quite as sharp
as I was. But the funny talking and stumbling over words has gone.
I have lots to be thankful for and somethings to feel bad about.
I guess leading up to this all happening I was already losing it.
Not sure how many people called and I didn't remember that I had
wrote too or chatted with on a normal bases. I had a few calls that said they were with the rewards
Department and I just hung up. Now I feel pretty bad about that. But have no clue has to who it was
so I can't apologize. That sucks. I finally mailed a few packages ,I remembered i had promised people.
