I always Wonder about this. You Guys Know in th Stand that Guy Called Called Willaim Starkey in there. what was He I Know he was the One in Charge of the Project Blue Facility but was he a General or something.
Also I never Understand where he Orders His People to Relase the Same Virus in Other Countries tooi don't get why he would do that it was very mean.
also why did He Kill Him Self by Going in the Labs an with the Super Flu an then shooting him self if he wasn't already Infected? |

It was called "Rome falls". It was in place because if America feel then the rest of the world had to go as well, kind of a mutually assured destruction. It was very cruel, but from a certain military point of view it made sense. No one would be left to condemn the US for its actions or try and invade after captain trips ran its course (if it actually would have).
Personally I feel that the super flu would have gotten to those other countries eventually. As it stood, north and south America was done no matter what.

It's because he was the head of the project, so the fact that it failed was his fault, at least in his mind. He tried to fix it as best he could be it was unfixable the moment Campion left the base. So he took the old soldier's way out, in Rome a disgraced general was supposed to fall on their sword. |

because with more time its somehow less faithful that the original miniseries. It's worth watching , but its frustrating
