These two voices are beautiful together, and it is a perfect song for them, I think....
.....one of these days it would be nice to hear Billie Eilish belt a song out, I think underneath it all she may have some powerful volume.

All great voices/artists you have on your list diobolic Dio! Love all of those too!....But many of them I would not put on the same level as....say:
Elton John, Elvis or Pat Benatar. Just a few examples.
I love Clapton, you know that.
THAT was just a list right off the top of my head, bub. 😊😉

I'm not the biggest fan of most female singers, but Clarre Tory's vocals on Don't Hold Back by Alan Parsons Project just speaks to my soul and makes me feel refreshed. Such pretty vocals on such a pretty song.

I think the unsung back up singers are great too. All the beautiful strong black songbird voices that backed up Ray Charles, The Rolling Stonesand MANY others are often overlooked. All the girls that have ever sang the "Great gig in the sky" are amazing....Clare Torry that you mentioned @wayoftheredpanda , is one of them. Not many know that Kat Segal (married with chidren and S.O.A. fame sang back up for Bette Midler.)
This part of the movie "Ray" was graet! (really good movie) Truly genius the way he stepped in on 8track and did all the girls arts as well as own....

She sung the studio version of Great Gig, she sued Pink Floyd for not giving her writing credit on the song because, to her claim, she improvised the entire wailing segment.

Such pretty vocals on such a pretty song. Okay scratch that not liking a lot of popular female singers part, I forgot that Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush exist. And uh whichever one of the Wilson sisters is the one that sings for Heart has a great voice too.

I mistakenly said 'Mary' Wilson, I meant "Ann Wilson" of Heart.
