Good points, Wolf. I think I stopped with TWD at like season 8 or something. But have continued checking out Fear. Do we ever learn what the CRM are? I haven’t found out what the CRM are exactly, but I’ve got my suspicions.
The last episode of the WD I saw was where that….Alpha…had left the heads all standing on pikes.
Don’t know what happened after that.
But I could definitely see Negan being turned loose to help fight her and the whisperers.
I would have loved to see HIM take HER out.
Maybe one day I’ll be able to catch up. I don’t watch anything on YouTube about the series. Just too much bullshit out there.
FTWD, I have not caught up on yet. Just haven’t gotten in the mood to.
I wasn’t too thrilled with how that series had progressed. But it wasn’t too bad.
Madison, Strand, Daniel, were the BEST . Nick and Alicia, I liked too. Couldn’t stand damn Celia, and I was glad to see how Madison dealt with her.
Daniel’s daughter Ophelia, Madison’s boyfriend and his son Chris, were all tedious P’sITA. Wastes of time, air and water.
Jenna Elfman and Garrett Dilahunt, were good. Liked them both alright.
Morgan was good when he showed up. Mo Collins and her brother ….
(guy from Galaxy Quest, I wonder how that actor ended up in a wheelchair!? 💔)
….were some comic relief. They were okay.
Killing Maddie and later Nick was the worst.
Madison was the best character, and I always wanted to see Strand get his drinkin’ buddy back.
Would have liked to have seen more of Michael Greyeyes, his character was good.
It was awful when they offed Maddie. You never actually saw her going down in that walker herd, and for quite a long time I wondered if she might have pulled a Glen, and escaped death, and later turn up somewhere unexpectedly. ( though I’m sure Kim Dickens didn’t want to be tied down in that role, and had other things to move onto)
Al was a good character. Loved that truck of hers! (I don’t care for Maggie Grace much, but was more impressed with her work as this character)
The last episode of FTWD I saw, was right after Al had been left behind and alive by the CRM soldier.
I think I may put that series on and catch up some today. It’s the only WD Series I have available on Hulu. And I have FTWD is the only WD spinoff series I’ve had access to. Great comments, Wolf!
Yes, I liked FEAR quite a bit. I just finished the second last season which was ... probably the worst of the show. Although, some people I have talked to tell me that the final season is even worse.
I fell away from the original run with them being in Mexico and all, but when Scott Gimple came in and changed the cast and introduced a lot of new characters, I started to like it more. For some reason I really didn't like Madison and her family. I liked Madison's husband at the start of the show, but they got rid of him, randomly, when they were in Mexico.
I loved some of the new characters they introduced in season ... was it four? I agree with you, Maggie Grace's character was really good. John Dorie is probably my favourite TWD universe character of all time, I loved his backstory and him so much. I also liked June ... but ... alas, when Scott Gimple left it all went to hell. I won't give you any spoilers, but they way the new writers got rid of his character ... and the change with June ... dear lord. Anyway, it wasn't great.
I did like how they brought back Salazar, who is another of my favourite characters in the show. But the second last season was horrid. Morgan is good, but the writer's just have no respect for his character.

I waited too long and apparently didn’t notice it was going to expire.
Cliff Curtis I like. But I did not like the character he was playing in this. ….like Laurie Holden. I like the actress and other characters she’s portrayed, but couldn’t stand obnoxious PITA Andrea.

There's a lot of weird stuff with the streaming rights for TWD related stuff. That new show doesn't even have an overseas streamer at the moment.

…I just remembered something from our last talks here, Commander osnafrank and edwardjohn . IF Daryl made the trip in that boat, What if ….he started out with another person accompanying? An knowledgeable/experienced companion? And maybe that person was lost along the way.
Hey! It’s tv! Tom Hanks did it on the Pacific in a movie, with only a raft, a few coconuts and a Wilson! 😊(oh man, I am so far behind on catching up on all these threads )

But what if, Daryl went full cannibal and...well...
Sorry, it's been a hot week, and it shows.

Sorry, it's been a hot week, and it shows. Now that you mention it, makes me wonder if he/they might have encountered any walkers at sea. On rafts, boats….etc….man, that could be awful. Imagine being asleep on relatively still waters and something floating up beside you. 😳
……we could write this stuff Frank! 😄

A cruiser like that would have a lot of canned goods and bottled water. I see an irresistible and high risk provision run on the horizon. 😊
Zombie sharks would be the worst! 😳

I didn't think the trailer for that new Negan and Maggie tv show seemed very good, but what I did like about it is the mutated zombie at the end. Its sort of like a Resident Evil style monster, and is very much required in a franchise were it seems like the zombies are secondary.
Like George Romero said, when asked if he would direct TWD: A zombie film should be about the zombies, not a soap opera.
Honestly, George should have been asked to write some TWD, but I think he was retired at that point in time.

Another point about the Daryl show. I don't really think Daryl should be a main character. He was at his best as a side character, you know?

Okay, i've just finished the first episode.
I still have no f******g clue, why Daryl was on Sea, i think you really have to watch the final of TWD.
Solid character development, solid acting, very pretty visually, but also not very surprising. After only 50 minutes, Daryl has a nemesis.
So far this Show brings nothing new to the table. Darryl came, was saved, made some Friends and he fought to protect them, and now, he has to escort a child ( isn't this Pedro Pascal's Job?), that's the new Messiah, to safety.
These Acid filled Walkers are interesting, hope we get some explanation for this.

Yes.
The ones who live is surprisingly good, (so far) With Andrew Lincoln back as the lead character, the show just hits another level.
