SICK of waiting all year? It's that time of year again! Welcome back to the 2020 SKMB October Horror Movie Marathon! Here's how it works: Watch scary/horror movies in October...whatever YOU think is horror (or scary) is fine! Talk about them here, or at least list the title At the end of the month, we tally up how many horror movies you watched 1-12 movies: Bangor Buddies 13-18 movies: Tet-Mates 19-30 movies: Horrorslingers 31 movies or more: Ultimate Kings of Horror! Even if you only watch one or two scary movies, this is a great thread for horror movie enthusiasts to share their finds and talk some horror! M-O-O-N, that spells movies!

Haha...nice!
I watched Red Dragon a few days ago. Can we count that since Frances Dolarhyde scares the hell out of me?

Speaking of The Stand, I just bought the restored blu-ray version and it looks great. I haven't watched it yet (saving it for the marathon) but I popped it in and looked at it and it looks so much better than the dvd, it's hard to believe it's the same movie.

There were some scenes where the grain was borderline ridiculous (to be expected, but really apparent on blu-ray), but I was pleased as punch over the transfer. I just hope the CBS All Access version is released on Blu ray someday.

I'm in!! I guess we only start counting on the first of october?? Anyway looking forward to it!! Yes, it "officially" starts October 1st, although some people have been known to start watching the evening of September 30th. Typically I post my reviews the day after I've watched the movie, so you probably won't see a review from me until October 2nd, unless I write it right after seeing the movie. It's all good!

I pulled some movies off the shelf for October, I won't necessarily stick to just these but it's a start.

I always think of Oliver Reed as Bill Sykes from Oliver. I do have a couple of other Hammer movies that he's in- Paranoiac & Captain Clegg/Night Creatures.
