So I watched this over the weekend--hadn't seen it in decades and couldn't remember much at all about it except that Arnie was in it and some wrestling people...
Holy crapulence....who...??? whaaa??? I don't even know where to begin talking about everything that was wrong with this thing! Maybe it belongs in that thread about movies that are so bad they're good....except I can't think of anything that was good about it.

I can't think of anything that was good about it. Richard Dawson.
And that's about it.

And that's about it.What ever happened to that Maria Conchita Alonso? She made this one and Moscow on the Hudson and then vanished.

I have fond memories of this movie because the day it came out my friends and I left school to go see it. We had to wear t-shirts over our uniforms to get into the cinema.
They should do a new adaptation, but would probably be too cowardly to go with the book's ending in these overly-sensitive times.

Yeah, they'd probably re-write the ending, but I'd still love to see an adaptation that comes closer to the book. This thing reminds me of a bad Batman movie.

Yesterday I watched an old horror movie that had both Burgess Meredith and Jack Palance in it.

I kinda like that movie. it's good old 80's Arnold camp. I would, however, love to see a faithful adaptation of the story. I am surprised more of the Bachman books haven't been used yet (other than Thinner)
