I say good idea...I'm curious about whether it would involve the original Loser's Club or would there be a next generation? 🤔

So this either would have to be a story told as a retrospective or we’ll need some new young peeps. The article in the link said that it may have a storyline that has to do with drugs....hmmm....interesting. It could involve the children of the Losers, maybe...?

I feel doing so would negate everything the Loser's Club fought for and sacrificed.
That said, yes I would read it in a heartbeat.

I'd prefer it if Steve wrote another ending for The Dark Tower.

But seriously, Steve is writing this to make money, there ain't no other reason.

But seriously, Steve is writing this to make money, there ain't no other reason. I see it as a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He just can't stop rearranging the story and the characters.

Surprising if true.
I would prefer a sequel to Salem's Lot. What were Ben Mears and Mark Petrie up to in the aftermath of that story?

Good idea, but I have a better one. Mr. King should finish writing The Plant. Of all his works, I believe this epistolary novel with make him a classic.

Bad idea if were talking about a sequel. Pennywise is dead, to resurrect him would be to negate all that the excellent original novel was all about. But a prequel is possible. We only really get glimpses of what he previously was up to. Of course you could write a sequel of one of the surviving losers but that would not truly be a sequel more of reusing an already existing character in a new context. There are many other books that are better suited for a sequel than IT. Salems lot or Pet sematary for example. And honestly i think one of the strenghts in Kings authorship is that he has stayed away, mostly, from sequels. Black House And Dr. Sleep being exceptions. I dont count DT since it was planned as a series from the beginning.

I'd like to know what happened to Kay Mcall, Beverley's friend, Patricia Uris, Stanley's widow, And Myra Kasbrak, Eddie's widow, how they fared, did they blame the remaining Losers Club, what they thought of them.
I had thoughts on writing my own short story about that.

So would I. It is on the "extended" reading order list for the DT books, so I'll be re-reading it soon anyway.
