Iconic. Rocky Horror Picture Show. We'd dress in character and go to the theater every weekend, armed with toast and a roll of Scott's toilet paper. We'd dance the Time Warp in the aisles. Good Times! We went to a Rocky Horror event- like a convention, all dressed in costume. We met the cast. I remember kissing Tim Curry's cheek. Good times back in the '70s.

Ted Gärdestad, swedish big star of the 70,s. Girls swooned over him everywhere. ABBA. The first song is from 1972 even if the performance is much later. Abba sang that one for the swedish queen when she just married our king, Thats why they are dressed this way. Otherwise it was star Wars and Halloween. And suffering through school. The first Abba song I ever remember hearing was Fernando. I still like that one and a few others. I’m glad you mentioned Halloween! Yeah, we’d spend months planning out costumes....although some years the plans didn’t work out and then Grandma would find some old clothes and smear a burnt cork on your face to make you look like a bum. 👻

I remember i watched TV-series too.... Faves were Soap and the Muppet Show and Monty python of course. Soap was a big deal back then! I think it was the first prime time show in America that had an openly gay character. We watched it, but I suspect a lot of the jokes went right over my head--I might have to check it out again some time.

Peace symbol. The symbol now known internationally as the "peace symbol" or "peace sign", or alternatively as the nuclear disarmament symbol, or the CND symbol (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) originates as a symbol representing the threat of nuclear annihilation used in British anti-nuclear activism from 1958.
I've heard it described as the 'chicken foot' too.

I love old commercials--the 70's had some of the best catch phrases & songs ever! As evidence of that, I still go around singing, I am stuck on Band-aids 'cause Band-aids stuck on me..."

I still have mine and it still works. That is so old that it seems like you have to run it along the ground to get a spark in order for it to work ...
