I think we all root for the monster a bit. We all want Jason to sit up, the Blob to keep movie, and Godzilla to surface.
There was something satisfying about Christine coming back together. I don't know how many of you watched Dragonball Z, but I had the same glee watching Majin Buu reforming.

By then he was too busy making Saturday Night Fever sequels wearing goofy headbands and diaper looking shorts and sh!t. Carpenter was probably too embarrassed to have Johnny T cast.

Ah...true...he was a has-been by 1983, I forgot. And then he went on to make that talking baby movie which didn't redeem him in my eyes.

Well, I remember rooting for Freddy and thinking I was one of a few because the first two I saw on VHS, but then I saw the third at the theater and not only were lots of people rooting for him in the theater, some were standing and clapping. Jason, Michael, Freddy, Chucky, they were often cheered for and favored over the victims. As for Christine, I gotta be honest, I'm just not as into that story anymore but it is still a solid film and the score is cool and Carpenter did a good job with the film. I mean one of my favorite horror directors doing a film based on one of my favorite horror writers, what a mix. Carpenter lost his edge years ago however, Vampires was probably the last solid horror film he directed, and James Woods carries that film for the most part.

I liked this scene, wish I could find a shot of her latching onto the Camaro with her grill, growling and dragging it around. 😊
.....and I'd love to see what Christine would do to "The Wraith"....😄

Is this movie worth checking out? I've never seen it before. I am a fan of John Carpenter.
