@osnafrank
Is there a way to create additional threads for King titles, under their own banner? I didn't mean to post under Pet Sematary thread. Thanks.

"Is that you Cunningham? Hey...you ain't mad ar ya?" Just watched this one again not that long ago - I love it! The music, the atmosphere and the fact that John Carpenter did a great job of directing it.

I think he did, too. This particular scene was so well done.

I like how Arnie started dressing in '50s clothes, James Dean style, and the dinner scene with his parents was reminiscent of Rebel Without a Cause.

I know that Carpenter feels he messed it up by not including LeBay's ghost in it, I guess being the director he can have any opinion about it that he wants, personally I thought it was a fantastic movie.

The one that always gets to me is Christine on fire and hunting Buddy. Jesus Christ, no CGI will EVER replace this.

That's a great clip. Even in her self-repair mode, Christine exhibits a malevolence and that "Don't F with me" violent attitude.
SIGH, she's a helluva ride.

SIGH, she's a helluva ride.--------That she is.....but malevolence? Nay, I say. Intention is everything, it's all in how you use her ....and God help you if you're an abuser, and/or a misuser of "Miss Useful", her. Just as vigilantly violent, as she needs to be, so does says me.
......oh crap, sorry y'all......thats 1 of those things that came about suddenly, and just had to come out.

No, I think if she wasn't malevolent, there would be no gripping tale and no horror. Christine is not useful at all, and don't think you can use her. In fact, she uses every human that she meets for her own ends.
She isn't Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, or Herbie the Love Bug, or going back even further in time, My Mother the Car.
She's a malevolent force to be reckoned with. I admire the story. I wouldn't mess with a car like Christine.
