I Just Read The Fire Starter Book Again an I Think Rainbird is One Of My Favorite an Most Interesting Human Villains In SK Books. What Do You Guys Think About Him?
To Me It Seems Like He isa Anarchist of some Kind...because Based On Some Of His Comments an Thoughts During the Story that's the Vibe I Got From Him. Also He isn't Really Loyal To Anyone Not Even The Shop an He Not Afraid of Death at all Either. Scary Dude IMO.

Haven’t read it yet. But getting the book was interesting. I was filling our my collection of SK novels and noticed I didn’t have it. Went online and saw Firestarter for $1, so I took a chance and ordered it. About a month went by so I emailed the company ask asked where the heck my book was. I got a reply that they realized it was a first edition and it should never have been listed at $1, and was put aside to have the issue resolved. After my email they looked at the book again and found the prior owner had written their name on the first page in ink so they decided to send it to me for the $1, and because of my trouble included a rare old magazine thing with short horror stories from authors. One was Stephen King. The story was pretty awful so I sent the thing to a member at the SKMB who was big into collecting SK stuff.

I Like the Book a lot it One of my Favs but I never Seen the Movie I Love Stories where People have Special Powers a lot. I actually liked the movie. All very good actors in the movie. That was a banner year for movies based on Stephen King books... "Firestarter," "Christine," "Cujo," "The Dead Zone," and "Children of the Corn."
