When I started reading Black house, I read about 100 pages and then it has been sitting on a shelf since. The book I had read before Black house (different author), I had to force myself to read from start to finish and it left me flat. You get that now and then, so my frame of mind was not good and have had thoughts about trying Black house again.

Have read Talisman and now have more confidence to read all of Black house.

Yeah, maybe it was because The Talisman was so damn good. A sequel just could not even come close. I still haven't read the whole thing.
