Doing okay. Thanks for asking. Here's something I wrote a while back, which appeared online.
Watergate: In Memoriam
Nine months and you were right
we should have never made out
in the back of my '56 Chevy
the mosquitoes were a blight that summer
the humidity up 80 percent
not to mention city-wide rioting, looting
we braved it, baby, we made it
while on the radio (WLS, Chicago)
we heard for the first time Led Zeppelin's
"Stairway to Heaven"
it was after eleven in the park, dark
so you kept an eye out for the cops
I had the hots for you real cool
and like a fool I knew that August 4th
(a Friday) might turn out to be a special day
my words to you were, Did you come?
your words to me were, Did you finish?
I admit I work faster than some
but knew my heart just wasn't in it
when the news came
(about the tapes, the cover up) it was too late
no bombs bursting, like on New Year's
and the rocket's red glare just fading.
So what if love is a conspiracy?
I loved you on a dare, a bet to myself
I'll never loved that way again, not in confusion
(in the dark, in Humboldt Park,
feeling pressed to make the mark)
knowing it was wicked
even if the CIA kept it a secret
