๐ Lol...does anyone know what the symbols mean? I worked in D/C and commercial laundry for about 15 years before I got a chance to be an Electrician.๐
(Industrial Laundry would involve processing hospital, hotel, nursing home...and the like, where manglers, like where Mr. King had worked, and wrote about, were used. I only worked at one place that had all 3 going on, DC, Commercial and Industrial Laundry. I worked in the commercial end only. You do NOT want to know what get's found in the other laundry on occasion.)
From what I remember the :
The triangle - No chlorine bleach (I think that's right) Circle in the square - No high heat (lol, I'm FAIRLY sure about that one) The Iron - cool iron (fairly sure about that one too)
Lol, it's been a long time guys, and we usually ignored all the labels anyway! "We don't need to read INSTRUCTIONS! We're Professionals!" ๐คจ
The last 2 symbols I do know for sure. The are:
Cold water wash only and Safe to dryclean in Perchlorethylene
"Perc" (for short) is one type of drycleaning solvent, the other is Naptha.
Okaaaaaay....micro 'know it all' rant over.... olfEOEbpO0rxuamBULVg
