diobolic Dio has me checking out this girl's other vids. π
THIS is a cool, interesting video...I'm about 1/3 way through it.
It USED to be my cats could be indoor and outdoor cats, and I NEVER had to have a litter box.
They were like my dogs, all they had to do was come ask and they would be let outside.
AND everyone knew, after sundown...EVERYBODY back in the house! π
But unfortunately...as years have gone by...and very irresponsible dog owners are more common now, (in these very latter years around my neighborhoodπ)
my kitties are all indoor now. Got to protect my all of my kids. πβ€
It used to be (when the weather/time of year permitted), I could leave the front and back doors open, and/or a window and the cats could come and go as they pleased. If it was too hot out to have the doors and window open then we all would go out and sit outside...and everyone came in at night. π
I miss those days. We still do that, but not as much as we used to....for a lot of sad reasons.
Anyway!

I was not aware that declawing does that kind of damage. That's heartbreaking. We NEVER even considered getting any of our cats declawed. Simply because it leaves them quite defenseless.
Years ago my Boz was outside, and he was chased into our backyard and attacked by two vicious dogs, their owner had just let them out to run loose. π He clawed them badly and managed to fight them off til we got to him and got him back into the house. Thank God, he wasn't hurt. But he was terribly frightened, and it was quite awhile before he would outside to play again. πI love dogs! But it awful when people don't care, train and socialize them properly. π I called animal control on that dog owner every time she turned her dogs loose, she ended being fined in the 1,000's. (one morning her dogs tore another neighbors cat apart, and they almost did that to another cat down the street too) She FINALLY stopped letting them run loose. Scotch is my Spirit Animal!  |
