And the guy in the chair reminds me a little of Bon Scott! I can see that. I can see that.
This comic should be called Everybody BUT George Harrison. (rofl) Oh man, I should NOT eat soup while reading posts.

One of George's most important non musical contributions was financing Monty Python's Life Of Brian. Without George there would have been no Life Of Brian.

Hey @notaro - did you hear that? What do you think of George? Fan or not?
My son and I watched A Hard Day's Night yesterday and thanks to this thread I did focus on George - he was really a very cool guy
George sings lead vocals in this song (after about 50 seconds of goofing around)

He's my favourite member of the Beatles neesy, my favourite Beatle track is one George wrote, While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

I love 'Horse to the Water' because of the big band sound. Sam Brown did a ridiculously good cover of it, but I can't find the whole clip online. Here's one minute of it...

CRAP!!! I tried inserting the "Something" Beatles song (written) by Harrison but it duplicated the post instead. Why is this place messin' with me today?
I really liked all Harrison's work with the Traveling Wilburys, and especially liked this solo endeavor of his from around that time too 😊......
Hi wolf I love this one, too- I wasn't sure if you knew this, but it's a cover of an old James Ray song. The original is pretty damn catchy, too! No wonder George liked it.

"Carve your number on my wall And maybe you will get a call from me..."
How did we make it this far in a George Harrison thread without this one?!

Nice. That was a different take on the song ...not what you usually hear.

Nice. That was a different take on the song ...not what you usually hear. That's Lari Basilio, Brazilian guitarist extraordinaire. I've been on a guitar instrumental kick lately and her original work is some of the best I've heard in ages.
But yeah, I think she does Ole' George justice.

Oh man....I also forgot to mention It's All Too Much.
And this Journey cover is actually not too shabby.

😂 I had never heard that one before. "You gotta write so many words..to do it, to do it, to do it right, child" I was certain Weird Al would have gone the "I'll have My Mom Sit on You" route, but this was classic nonetheless.

Dhani Harrison & friends covering The Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp. (An under-appreciated classic.)
