My Husband got this Movie Last Week an we are going to Watch it Tonight. He isa Big Fan of the Old ones from Japan so he is Looking forward to this one as well. Has anyone seen it on here? Is it Good in your Opinion? I will Say what I Think about it once I Watch It. |

I don't want to be a party pooper....but it had too many explosions and not enough of a plot for me.
I remember eating WAAAYYY too much popcorn because that's what happens when a movie doesn't keep me interested.
I hope it's different for you.

Hmmm well I don't want to Ruin this for my Man so ill Watch it with him anyways. He been Wanting to see this a Long Times lol.

Back in 1998, they released a God Awful Godzilla movie starring Matthew Broderick, the guy who plays Ferris Beuller. It was, in my opinion, a very dumb movie. Even the monster in the movie didn't look like the Godzilla we all know and love. Avoid it at all costs. |

Cloverfield was a MUCH better Godzilla movie than 1998's Godzilla. I agree. Cloverfield had the tension and suspense you're supposed to feel when you watch a monster movie. |

I agree. Cloverfield had the tension and suspense you're supposed to feel when you watch a monster movie. Yeah, HUD was obviously thrown in for comic relief--I'm not sure why they did that. Maybe just in case people didn't care about the young couple, they could sympathize with the dumb guy ? I dunno. It IS a very good movie. Honestly, the only monster movie I've seen as an adult that still scared me like monster movies should. Others have shock-value or just gross effects, but Cloverfield was different. |

Me too! That one really made an impression. Have you watched the other Cloverfield movies? Yeah, the second one was freaky. I was caught off guard by John Goodman playing that kind of role because I had only seen him as Babe Ruth and the Dad on Roseanne. The third one didn't grab me at all. I really had trouble getting through the whole thing. |

We Watched the Godzilla Movie Last Night...You Guys were Right it was Pretty Wild with the Explosions lol. King Ghidorah was the Stuff of Nightmares imo he was Really Scary. I Love that they had Mothra in the Movie tho She always Been my Favorite. Cant Believe they Made Rodan Look Like a Joke to everyone else but he was Still Cool. Godzilla Him Self was Great too. My Husband Liked it a lot an he Tells me they are Coming out with another one of these Movies whenever this Covid19 stuff is Setttled down an it Going to have King Kong in it too.
