That was a pretty good movie. Was it based on a book by Straub? Thought I read somewhere that it was.

Didn't like a lot of his 80's stuff....too much the same....always somebody on the run, it seemed.
Anton Yelchin. Very good actor. He is missed.
He was good as Jerkov...I mean Chekov...... in the new Star Trek movies, bet osnafrank will remember that.😊😉
One of his best, I think, was with Robin Williams, Eryka Badu and....David Duchovney....in "The House of D".
.....and he was also quite good in "A long came a spider" (an Alex Cross story with Morgan Freeman) with co-star Mika Boorem, who he had acted with in "Hearts in Atlantis".
Wasn't he also in the film based on Koontz's book about the super smart telepath golden retriever and it's sick polar opposite?....that book was tripe...for me it was.

I never saw any of those movies other than Star Treks. The only other movie I remember him in was the Fright Night remake.

Tarrant was great in the Mc Dowell role, Farrell was awesome as the vamp, ...mmmm....but sorry, didn't like Mintz-Plasse as the turned friend as much as I did the guy in the original 80's flick. Amanda Bearce (Marcy from "Married with Children") in that one was okay, Chris Sarandon was good too.

I mostly like the cast from the original. The thing I remember most from the remake was the song played at the end of the movie '99 problems.' It was the first time I heard that version.
