I love retro covers, I swapped a pristine copy of the fog by james herbert for this one, just because of how 70s cool the cover is. Lots see some of yours. Attachment Deleted

This is a cool thread! Sorry my SK collection is gone.
One of my favorite SK book covers is the original "Christine". I've seen pictures of the newer cover, I like it too. But I think the original was the best.

I don't like how a lot of cover arts now take such a minimalistic approach even when it doesn't fit the book's tone or plot. I like a lot of retro covers with their epic and sometimes over-the-top cover art, like Pet Semetary and IT. I think the expression of "not judging a book by it's cover" is only half true when it literally comes to books, covers should grab people's attentions with an elaborate display of what might be in the story, done perfectly with the original US Pet Sematary cover. More people will likely check out your book if it has cool art instead of just plain minimalism.

Hodder and stoughton published a collection of paperbacks that mostly had a silhouetted single picture on a plain background. I have a few of them - blaze, carrie, cujo, Duma key and IT. I'm not impressed with them.

I love this cover of Dandelion Wine so much, I wish I could get it printed on a shirt. It’s also one of my favorite Bradbury books. This is a copy from 1969- I think I accidentally stole it from my Pops. Oops. Attachment Deleted

I had that book, too!!! As a kid!! I adored Logan's Run, even going so far as to glue little pieces of colored plastic to my palm!

No rules here, just retro looking. You have some amazing looking books there, I love the h.g wells books. The only other copies of his books I have are in the form of a 5 novel anthology - war of the worlds, the time machine, the invisible man, the first men in the moon, and the island of dr moreau

Thank you, Anthony. Old paperbacks are like little works of art sometimes. They don’t make ‘em like they used to. I have lots more! I’ll find some interesting ones and post more pics soon!😎

A couple of Ray Bradbury books from the 80's. I got these for Christmas one year and also had The Halloween Tree, but I can't find that one. (Also-the guy on the cover of "Something Wicked.." looks like Hugh Jackman for some reason.)
