Yap, i have a question too.
I think it`s some kind of slang in the US spideyman and doccreed wolf ??
Stumbled over this Line in Gerards Game.
"Seventy Dollars for a pooch which was nothing but a Heinz Fifty Seven....."
What the heck does Heinz Fifty Seven mean ? I'm quite baffled here. bqoSoRxYPsUMmOVwFRVS
Thanks in advance folks.

Doc Creed or Spidey or wireman may explain better than I can. Yes, it is a slang reference. And not necessarily used in a derogatory way.

Thanks in advance folks. Hey hey Frank Okay Heinz 57 is a kind of steak sauce, that has 57 different ingredients. It refers to a mongrel. A dog that is not pure bred, a mutt. It also is applied to people who have mixed heritage. Like so many Americans, who have ancestry from many different places. I think I covered it there. Does it make sense to you now? facepalm Yes, it makes sense now. I wasn`t thinking of the sauce. And i didn`t know it has 57 ingredients.
Thanks wolf for clearing this up. c017

Thanks in advance folks. Wolf has the right answer. Heinz 57 is a shortened form of a historical advertising slogan "57 Varieties", by the H. J. Heinz Company from Pittsburgh, United States. It has come to mean anything that is comprised or mixed from a lot of parts or origins.
