Update on Shannon/Ghost19 as of yesterday April 12
holding his own, still has issues with oxygen level, very tired. He shouts out a thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts.
neesy -- anything new via FB?? As far as I can tell he is stable and "out of the woods" as they say so now it's just a case of wishing him a speedy recovery!

Thanks @alexandra - he is going for a PET scan today and I will be picking him up in a few hours - pretty sure the first place he will want to go is Tim Hortons for some steeped tea!
All he was allowed to have this morning was clear water so I think he was in shock (he is not a morning person anyway)

I agree with Andy,their steeped tea is very good.
Those scans are hard on the nerves and not having eaten doesn't make things any easier. Hope all went well. I wanted you to know I am thinking of both of you.

Hope everything is okay Neesy. Thanks francesca - I was wrong actually - it is tomorrow (Wednesday) that we go.
Andy was raking leaves with me yesterday (last season's!) and he told me that after an hour he got so winded he had to sit down. So there's definitely something wrong with his lungs.
Will let you (and everyone here) know more once we find out. Thanks for your concern a200

This is a Prayer request for Mary , pegasus216
As you may know, she was in hospital because she felt in her house and passed out.
The reason was, that her ear is plugged up and she lose's balance.
Her nurse told her, that this is part of her disease and it won't get better, no meds will help.
It's coming to the very end stages of her disease.
She won't be around much longer, if she's lucky she may get trough summer.
It's hard for her to read and sit in her chair also, that's why she isn't online.
She's not in pain but getting weaker every day.

I wish her a peaceful passing without much pain; end stage renal disease is difficult to deal with - hoping she will not suffer and will just gradually decline. Sending prayers and lots of love to pegasus

Seems age is a big factor now when seeking employment. Years of skills no longer matter-- at least around here. So requesting some positives, please. Thank you.
