I got to talk to mama for a long time yesterday afternoon, she is doing MUCH better! Almost over the last bout of Covid. Thank God!
She asked me to thank everyone for everything!

Well, yesterday I got news on my tests that were done.
They’ve ruled out ALS, MS and I assume that means similar conditions such as MG …etc..as well.
And they’ve said that a muscle biopsy isn’t necessary, and they don’t have to do it.
So that leaves my back.
And they have given me a diagnosis of
“Spondylosis of lumbar spine”
and also
“Positive ANA”.
They’ve said some physical therapy, to keep my back muscles strong will help.
My major organs are all good. Lungs have two areas of scarring from pneumonia, and 2 or 3 small nodes about 3mm in size. They termed those things as ‘unremarkable’.
Liver function was down a little, but doc said it was good and not of concern. Thyroid function is fine, cholesterol is good and no diabetes.
So thank God for all the good stuff goin’ on. 🙂🙏❤️
Still have incidents with low bp. And still don’t know why that has started happening.
What I do know is that is caused by over exertion, so I’m just careful, take my time and pace myself. The best I can.
I’ve got more referrals, and will be going back to neurology and rheumatology, as well as seeing my regular doc. And they have declared me totally disabled.
Overall, I’m okay and got this. 😊😘

One other thing, I finally got through their heads that I’m not in pain. They’ve all assumed I’m coming to them for pain right off the bat. And have been surprised when I tell them that.
And I’ve told them that I don’t need or want any prescription pain meds, I do fine with ibuprofen.
Bad pain is supposed to go hand and hand with that condition.
Sure I get sore, tired and achy at times, but I’m not in severe constant pain like I used to be.
That’s only happened when I’ve done something careless and too strenuous, to aggravate my old injuries.
So….I’m very fortunate and have that to be grateful for too.
(I have seen years where I WAS in constant severe pain. Thank God it’s not like that anymore!  🙂) |
