Chimera
noun, plural chi·me·ras.
(often initial capital letter) a mythological, fire-breathing monster, commonly represented with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail.
any similarly grotesque monster having disparate parts, especially as depicted in decorative art.
a horrible or unreal creature of the imagination; a vain or idle fancy: He is far different from the chimera your fears have made of him.
Genetics. an organism composed of two or more genetically distinct tissues, as an organism that is partly male and partly female, or an artificially produced individual having tissues of several species.
I have been watching The Outsider series (I recorded it) and although I am a little hazy on the details, having read the book when it first came out, I think it is a chimera that is committing the crimes;
It's the story of a little boy who is horribly murdered and how initially it seems his baseball coach did it.

I like the term "you have done me a solid", I use it whenever I can. ....that's cool When my kid was about 12 or 13, we were rewatching The Incredibles, and he heard ElastiGirl telling someone on the phone she needed a solid (He hadn't caught it before) and he asked me what she meant by that. I explained it to him, and it became one his favorite expressions too.
