One of the scariest things I've ever seen is an old guy with most of his teeth missing and no legs screaming some delusional half-indecipherable rant at this poor teenage employee who looked dead inside as he tried to make the guy's sandwich at subway.

I've seen the Wizard of Oz more times than I can count because my music teacher in elementary school always played either that, The Sound of Music, or some other weird surreal music related movie they had on VHS I don't remember the name of. The thing with The Sound of Music was that they just cut out like almost the entire end of the movie because it had Nazis in it and they didn't want to explain what the Holocaust was for context, so I never even knew the real ending of the movie until I saw it again way later.

Have you ever watched the avant-garde movie 'Zardoz' (1974) with Sean Connery in a role quite unlike any he did before? Basically an Acid Trip in movie form, I'd say. Worth a watch if you've never seen it, and you'll never forget it. And if you do get to watch it, and manage to make sense of what the hell it's all about, let me know.

I've never actually watched the film. But I definitely recognize the name and the image of Sean Connery in that weird spandex suit that looks like it belongs in a film that's from a different kind of "fantasy" genre
