This is one of my least favorite King books. But, if SK and osnafrank are happy, I'm happy!

Frank I read it because, well, Mr King wrote it...
And the baseball connection helped too...
Not in my top ten but a good read though...

I liked this Baseball moments, when she turned on her radio, listening to Fenway Park. It isn`t one of SK`s most brilliant books but a damn very nice read (just my 2 cents).
And i`m not sure about the ending (Was it really just a Bear ? )

I think, like with Gerald's Game, that Stephen suggests that sometimes the things we hallucinate in extreme circumstances actually give us a Fringe-like view window into the spiritual/alternate worlds.....

This is one of my least favorite King books. But, if SK and osnafrank are happy, I'm happy! You know, right after I read it, I felt mildly disappointed.....in fact, disappointed enough to give the book away. I recently picked up another copy and skimmed it and found a lot of appreciation for it. The first time I read it, I think I let the baseball details get in the way of the story. The second time around,I was able to look past those and focus on Trisha’s (mis)adventure. I definitely want to see the movie.

This is a bit off topic but does anybody have the pop up book of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon?

I have the pop-up book neesy .
Me too - got a copy from a good friend (KFF) - I feel like maybe phoning her but not sure if she would recognize my number so might need to leave a message
So I am wondering if this movie is now on the back burner?

I have a copy of the Pop Up book. It is very cool. I picked it up from a used bookstore a few years ago.
