I bought the softcover edition. The store did not send to Mexico but it ended up being for the best, as a friend is about to send me something, so I used his address and I will save in shipping fees by mixing the two items.
I will soon be able to read The Long Walk (the story I am most interested in from this book), plus I will have access to Rage.
The auction for the hardcover is one day and three hours from the end, and it's still at $17.50. It'll be interesting to see how things change rapidly once the end is near. Or if the lucky bidder will get it at such a low price.

It reached $51. I hope it went to a home where it will be enjoyed and taken care of.
(My softcover edition is on its way to my friend's house, so I may get it not too long from now.)

I shared the first edition hardcover auction in case someone from here wanted to have it and had the $.

After spending some months at my friend's home while he received other items he could send to me, I finally got my softcover copy.
It is in nice condition, so I'm happy with it.
I want to start with "The Long Walk". And I definitely want to read "Rage", which is the reason why I searched for this old edition.

If it is a complete older version of the Bacchman books with "Rage" in it, hold onto it.
One of the two SK books I have left, is that one in paperback. It sure is! Mum had it ever since I was a kid. It's a really battered old copy. I'll keep it cause it reminds me of her more than anything. I read Rage yesterday and The Long Walk today. When I'm done with the whole thing it will be the 40th King book I've read! 😀
