I haven't read many books lately so I should go on the library website and order a few. I did read an old National Geographic from 2011!

Finished “The Caller” by Chris Carter yesterday.
I think i've read a Carter book before, the main character, Robert Hunter, sounded familiar.
I didn't like the first half , but the last half more than made up for that.

Time to resume my second journey to the Dark Tower. I've read part one-three earlier this year, and started Wizard And Glass today.

A re-read of Michael Connelly's The Last Coyte. I think it's the 4th Bosch book. I've been watching the Amazon show, Bosch and that made me want to read this one again.

I am making my first foray into the work of Greg Iles. I know sai King thinks highly of him and have been meaning to try his books out.
Several months ago I was examining some of his books our library has when I picked up The Footprints of God (also known as Dark Matter). I skimmed the plot synopsis on the inside flap...brilliant scientist on the run from government agents, super-advanced tech on the horizon, protagonist tormented by mysterious nightmares. A little Dean Koontz, a little Dan Brown. Sounded interesting. Then I noticed the name of the protagonist.
A little shocked, I checked the publication page. 2003. Twenty years ago. I thought it had to be a coincidence, but at that point a patron approached me for help and I got sidetracked.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. We have a "swap cart" next to the circulation desk with older books that people can simply take, return if they like, or donate their own older books to if they like. The Footprints of God was donated by someone, and I remembered my moment of shocked curiosity in the fiction stacks. The Footprints of God came home with me, and I cannot put it down. Not only because of the auspiciously-named main character, it's just a damn good story. Here is Fantastic Fiction's entry on it...make of it what you will.
